Fascinated from an early age by arms and armor, Tom turned that interest towards bladesmithing very quickly in his blacksmithing journey. Many of the blades he creates utilize reclaimed material in either the blade or handle (and sometimes both!). Functionality and durability are the goals of his blades, and the worst fate for a knife in his mind is for it to sit in a case and not be used.
